Hi - I am planning to bring a group of 15 people to Disney Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving Day 2025 and one ambulates with a disability. What is the best way to purchase tickets and navigate as it is everyone's first time except for me and my husband?

    Hiya, Kay!

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! I absolutely love that you're planning to play tour guide for your large group's visit to Magic Kingdom... and on Thanksgiving day, no less! Wow, you are a superhero, Kay!

My family often travels to Walt Disney World as a multi-generational group, and when we do, we're a party of twelve. So believe me when I say, I know exactly what it's like to coordinate dining reservations, park plans, and everyone's must-do attractions. These kinds of trips are truly my jam!

While planning for a big group might seem overwhelming at first, it doesn't have to be. With a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, everything can run smoothly. Plus, some of the most memorable moments happen when you're all experiencing the magic together!

The easiest and most reliable way for your group to purchase tickets is directly through the Walt Disney World website. Start by hovering over "Tickets & Parks" at the top of the homepage, then select "Buy Theme Park Tickets." If you're planning to visit only Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving Day, choose 1 day for the number of days, then select your date on the calendar. After that, pick Magic Kingdom as your park of choice and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your purchase.

You can either buy all 15 tickets together or have each member of your group purchase their own through their My Disney Experience accounts. Either way, be sure everyone in your party is connected through the Family & Friends List. This makes coordinating all of your plans practically perfect in every way!

For the member in your party with a disability, I highly recommend viewing Disney's Accessibility Planning Guide & Recommendations before your visit. This helpful resource outlines the many services and accommodations available throughout the parks, making it easier to understand your options and plan what will work best for your group's specific needs.

But rest assured, as someone who uses a wheelchair, I can tell you that Disney World is incredibly disability-friendly. From accessible transportation, to thoughtfully designed attractions and facilities, Disney truly goes above and beyond to ensure every Guest can experience the magic comfortably and fully.

Kay, I hope this information helps as you plan your magical Thanksgiving Day visit! If you have any more questions or need a bit more guidance, please don't hesitate to stop by planDisney again. We're always here to make your planning journey smoother...and a whole lot more fun!

    Magic Awaits,
