Hiya, Teresa! I'm so glad you found the trail through the Hundred Acre Wood and made your way here to planDisney!
October is a wonderful month to visit
Walt Disney World Resort! From
exciting attractions to
character meetings, you're sure to find magic waiting for you around every corner. Be sure to take a peek at the page that's dedicated to
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones for even more magical ideas!
I'm so happy that you'll be able to celebrate your son's 2nd birthday at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Even though you're planning on visiting Magic Kingdom Park on a
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night, have no fear. I think you're going to have an incredibly magical time (and I often find that Magic Kingdom Park is a little less busy on days that have a ticketed event at night). Teresa, since Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins at 7:00 PM, it looks as though the dinner hours for
The Crystal Palace will be 3:00 PM - 6:55 PM. When speaking to a Cast Member, they recommended just making sure that your dinner is wrapped up before the party starts so the park can be reserved for those Guests with a party ticket!
Here are a few more suggestions for a fun and celebratory trip:
- Be sure that you've made your theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step in order to visit your desired parks during your trip.
- Consider picking up an "I'm Celebrating" or "First Visit" button for your son to wear during the trip! You can get these from the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Guest Services, or at the checkout counter from most merchandise locations. For a small fee, you can even have an extra special button personalized from Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Days of Christmas in Disney Springs!
- If your family feels a rumbly in their tumbly, make sure that you place a mobile order for quick meals and snacks through the My Disney Experience app! This app is a little like holding a magic wand in your hand. You'll also be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and locate entertainment!
I hope I was able to help you with your question today, Teresa! If anything else pops up, please visit us again.
Wishing your son the very best birthday!
Michelle
