I am planning on booking a reservation at a WDW resort for 5 people with the dining plan...but can I then make dinner reservations for 6 people?

Hi, Lori! Yes, you can! We do this all the time. For example, when we are at Walt Disney World, my Moms Panel friend, Marisol, and her family often join us for a few days. They are local and have Annual Passes, so they do not have a Disney Dining Plan. It doesn't affect our ability to dine together at all.  One of us makes the dining reservation for our whole group (by phone or online). Then, when we're dining, the Cast Member serving us asks who has a Disney Dining Plan and who doesn't, and that's all there is to it.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
