We are planning to book a 5 night Bahamian Cruise on the Magic in April 2012 with 2 boys, ages 10 and 7. We are trying to watch our budget. Is there any advantage to a deluxe oceanview room over the deluxe interior room except for the porthole window?

    Hi Kimberly!

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  As the Disney Cruise Line Specialist, I am so glad you are here.

You are correct in that the only difference is the porthole window with them both measuring in at 214 sq. ft.  Anytime my family is on a DCL ship we like to spend as little time in the room as possible.  So, if you don't mind a windowless room, you might want to consider saving your money and going with the Deluxe Inside Stateroom.

Let me know if you have any further questions during your planning process.  Make sure to visit to find out about all that DCL has to offer!
