    I am planning my 50th birthday celebration with my 2 bestest girls in early April We have booked a package with the Caribbean Beach resort pirate room Can you let me know if construction at the resort will be finished??

    Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of our favorite places to stay when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort, and the Pirate Rooms are an absolute blast!  They will definitely help you get ready for your own swashbuckling birthday adventures!

    Although there are no confirmed dates yet for when the construction at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be finished, I spoke with a Cast Member who informed me that Sebastian's Bistro (which is replacing Shutters) and Centertown Market at Old Port Royale are both set to open this fall!  Because of this, you should be able to expect that these new and scrumptious dining locations will be available during your vacation!  

    Construction began in May of 2017, and was set to be completed in two years, so it is possible that you will still encounter some pixie dust flying around.  That being said, because dates are always subject to change, you may be lucky and have it all completed by your visit!  Just remember, the Disney Skyliner Transportation System will probably still be under construction during your visit, as it is set to open in late 2019.  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates about all of the new pixie-dusted experiences coming to the Walt Disney World Resort!
