I am planning on going to Aulani Resort in September and staying in the 1 bedroom ocean view villa. Which tower would provide the best view? And how high does the 1 bedroom dvc villas go up to ?

Hi there, David! I think it must be on nearly every Disney Vacation Club member's bucket list to have the opportunity to visit this Disney Hawaiian paradise. It's so exciting that you are having the opportunity to go in just a few months.

First, there are 1-bedroom villas at Aulani - a Disney resort and spa all the way up on the 16th floor. That's as high as you can get in any type of accommodation at the resort. Some people love being up as high as they can be for a spectacular view, but others prefer being closer to the ground, so they can practically walk right out and into the action.

As far as which tower provides the best view, it comes down to personal preference. I would say that the views in the ocean view villas are equally beautiful in either the 'Ewa Tower or the Wai'anae Tower. The things that guests have used to determine which tower is right for them usually have to do with other things. The 'Ewa tower, for example, is a bit closer to things like Aunty's Beach House and 'Ama'Ama Restaurant. Afternoon sun on the 'Ewa side can be intense, and may keep you indoors, but the sunset from this tower is spectacular.

Wai'anea is a bit further from the main activities, but this tower gets morning sun. This means you can sit out and enjoy the island sunshine all afternoon without being overwhelmed by the intensity. This tower is closer to the spa and adult pool, and if you have a car, you may find it more convenient to the parking area on this side.

Wishing you an absolutely magical vacation!
