I am planning on attending a show at the House of Blues at Disney Springs. Is there somewhere I can privately pump breastmilk before or during the show?

Greetings, Eilene, and thank you for stopping by planDisney with this great question. I'm a Florida resident, too, and isn't it grand to be able to pop over to the theme parks or Disney Springs on short notice? The best part for me is meeting with friends from out of town when they come to Walt Disney World Resort. But let's talk about your upcoming visit to Disney Springs and where you can do your breast pumping with some privacy.

Eilene, I spoke to a star-quality Cast Member who suggested you stop by the Disney Springs Welcome Center before the show, and they will be able to best direct you to a spot to pump. They should offer a secluded room so you won't have to sing the blues!

I'd also like to mention that House of Blues Restaurant & Bar has a restroom inside the venue where you could go, and some nearby outdoor benches are somewhat secluded. I wish there were a Baby Care Center at Disney Springs, but those are only at the four theme parks. To find one inside the parks, hop on your My Disney Experience Mobile App and tap the location icon at the bottom of your screen. Select the Guest Services category and tap Show List in the upper right to see Baby Care Centers.

House of Blues is a fabulous venue for live music, and I always get the Everything Legendary Burger. It's delicious AND plant-based! Give it a try, and let me know what you think.

Eilene, I hope you enjoy the show and can do your pumping in a peaceful environment. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
