We are planning on attending Mickeys Magical Christmas and will be there for the Nov 8, 11 & 12 dates. I was thinking of attending on Nov 8. Would you advise going on the 1st day or waiting? Only thoughts it might be busy on 11th & 12th with loc

Hi, Christine!  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is quite popular, and many Orlando area locals like to take part in the holiday festivities by purchasing tickets for the party.  I have found, however, that the busiest nights for the locals tend to be Friday and Saturday nights.  Since most people who live in Orlando would have to take into consideration work and school schedules, unlike folks there on vacation, it isn't always the best option to attend the party on a weeknight.

November 11th is a Thursday, so I would think you would be fine attending the party on that night.  Whether or not the night of November 8th is good for you and your family is going to depend on your family.  I know when we travel, we are up at the crack of dawn to get on the road or to catch an early flight.  My two youngest daughters could probably run circles around me until midnight or later, but I know I'm a much more pleasant Mom if I get a good night's sleep on the first night of our vacation.

If you are taking a later flight in, or have a chance to nap in the afternoon, you probably won't mind so much running around the Magic Kingdom until midnight!  But keep in mind that it can be tough to get up early the next morning, especially if you've had a very full day the day before.

    Have a magical vacation!
