Hi, Joe!
Thank you for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question! Your family is going to have an absolutely SPOOK-tacular time at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in October. I love this special event for so "minnie" reasons including the BOO-tiful decor, Boo-to-You parade, all the character meet-in-greet opportunities, trick-or-treating around the park and dressing up for the festive fun!
I'm happy to report that you will not have to waste any of your park time because you will be able to stay in the park and just pick up your party wristbands and trick-or-treat bags from designated locations by 7:00 p.m. I've done this in the past and found locations in Tomorrowland and Adventureland, so there's no need to head back to the front of the park. The Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party guide will have all the information you'll need including what attractions will be open, where to find delicious candy, parade routes and times, show times and more.
Joe, one final tip to share with you about your party night. We like to eat before the party starts so we can maximize our time once the clock strikes 7:00 p.m. You may want to consider a late afternoon
dining reservation or plan on visiting a counter service option before the festivities begin (that way you can indulge on some of your candy and specialty treats available for purchase during the party!).
Thank you again for sending in your question, Joe! We hope you'll swing back by if we can assist you again.
Have a SPOOKY time!
Nancy
