Welcome to planDisney! I'd be happy to take a look at the current park schedules and give you some details on what to expect in your planning.
The
Hours and Events Calendar is your best friend when you're planning to visit the Disneyland Resort soon! Looking at the current schedule for October 19th, 2023, I see that the hours for Disneyland Park are shown as 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM. I think you may have been looking at the hours for Disney California Adventure Park, which are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM due to the special ticketed event (Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party) being offered in the park that evening.
As for entertainment (which is always subject to change, so keep an eye on the calendar) I see that there is not a parade planned for Disneyland Park that day. But there is lots of other atmosphere entertainment across the park! The
Tale of the Lion King show is fantastic, and it looks like there's a Disney Villians Dance Party that evening as well. Then there are classic favorites like
The Dapper Dans, they always have such a fun selection of seasonal music!
I will say that in past years there has sometimes been a spooky mini-parade of characters showing off their Halloween costumes during the day. It isn't on the schedule yet, but I would recommend that you keep an eye open for updates! Make sure you download the
Disneyland Mobile App before you visit the parks, so you can use it to see the schedule for the day. The app is also super helpful for
mobile ordering a meal or delicious treat.
Myriah, I hope that there will be some pixie dust in the air and you'll find some great entertainment! The energy that these incredible performers bring to the park is really a huge part of the magic. Have a wonderful visit!
