We are planning a 20th anniversary wedding vow renewal for July 2015. I see many posts on renewals, but not at the Wedding Pavilion. Any thoughts on doing the whole "Cinderella" experience, pumpkin carriage and all with our 12 & 8 year old s

    Hi Kimberly,

One of the Moms Panelists who is on hiatus right now (coincidentally also named Kimberly) did exactly what you describe for her 10th wedding anniversary. She and her husband had a vow renewal ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion. She was in a white gown, used the Cinderella carriage, had a catered reception, and danced with Mickey Mouse after the service. Her young son was a big part of the festivities. It was the princess wedding she had always wanted; it just happened a decade after her marriage.

Kim raves about the experience - for her it was both meaningful and a blast.

If a Wedding Pavilion vow renewal is something that appeals to you, then I say go for it. From a planning perspective, this would be treated much like an initial wedding. You would work with a Disney planner to get all the arrangements exactly as you want them. For more information, contact Disney Weddings directly and they'll point you in the right direction.

Congratulations on your anniversary. And please let us know if you have additional questions, we're happy to help.
