Namaste, Jessica!
I'm thrilled you floated on over to planDisney with this question. Amidst the go, go, go of adventure in the parks, taking time for self-care can be a truly enchanting vacation experience.
At this time,
The Grand Floridian Spa is still your go-to option for the ultimate relaxation. There you'll find a variety of massages, facials, and body treatments, as well as services for hair and nails. I took a peek at some of the current seasonal offerings and am swooning over the Key Lime Mousse Massage and the Honey and Key Lime Body Treatment. These sound like absolutely blissful ways to unwind after all those steps walked in the parks. Though not a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you might also consider visiting
Mandara Spa at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel to indulge in one of their signature treatments. Both destinations are sure to melt away stress and leave you feeling revitalized and ready to dive back into the magic.
Unfortunately, I can't say if or when we might expect to see some of the other
Spa options on property become available to guests. I'd recommend keeping an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for the latest details as they are announced. In the meantime,
Disney's partnership with the Calm app offers a fantastic way to extend your relaxation. The app features guided mindfulness meditations like "Breathe like the Ocean with Moana" and "Feel Rooted and Strong with Rapunzel" which are ideal companions for finding inner peace and calm. These were designed with kids and families in mind, but I enjoyed just as much listening as an adult. You'll also find some Disney Princess soundscapes that create a soothing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in your resort room or back home.
Speaking of soundscapes don't miss the
options available via "Hey Disney!" available in your resort room. I loved listening to the Moana soundscapes while getting ready each morning during my most recent visit. You can even
keep the magic going back home with a compatible device.
Jessica, I'm sorry I don't have a more clear answer for you but I hope this helps you feel recharged and ready for more magic. Please come back and see us again with more questions. We're always happy to help work out any vacation planning stress!
Magic and memories,
Amy
