Planning ADR heard mixed reviews on the Coral Reef. My family of 3 taking my in-laws for thier 1st time in Dec. Like the look of the atmosphere, but has anyone ate dinner there? Can't decided between Coral Reef and Sci-Fi or Crystal Palace any suggestion

Karen, I think you'll always hear good and bad reviews about everywhere, whether that's in Disney World or elsewhere. I've dined at Coral Reef several times and when I ask my family where we should eat on our next trip it always makes the list! We love the atmosphere, it's so cool to be dining under the sea, watching all the fish, sting-rays, sharks and turtles swimming by, plus the occasional diver. We've also always found the food to be nice too, my husband loved the bread and dipping oil there so much last trip that he's tried to recreate it at home! You can see the dinner menu HERE and the dessert menu HERE.

As for your other choices, Sci-Fi and Crystal Palace are also great restaurants, CP is our favourite character meal in WDW it is a buffet, the food is delicious and the Winnie The Pooh characters are great. Sci-Fi is designed to look like you're dining at the drive through movies and old film clips are shown on the big screen whilst you dine. A photo and some information can be found HERE. The food here is simpler with sandwiches and ribs on the menu, the oreo milkshake is to die for!!!

Personally if I was looking for a nice meal with my family where we could have a nice conversation, food and atmosphere I would definitely book Coral Reef from your choices. Whichever you decide be sure to book a reservation up to 90 days in advance by calling 407-939-3463. Have a great trip,
