    We had planned a vacation in 2020, but due to COVID-19, had to cancel. What can we do about the Disney credits we received if we still cannot go?

    I’m so glad you followed the second star to the right straight on to planDisney! I'm sorry to hear your previous trip had to be canceled due to COVID-19 and that you are still unable to make a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I can imagine how disappointing that must have been for you and your family. I reached out to Guest Services today concerning the credit from canceled 2020 trips and was told it truly depends on the terms and conditions that applied when you canceled your vacation. Normally, the credit from your theme park tickets will remain connected to your My Disney Experience account and can only be applied to the purchase of theme park tickets for a future trip with the assistance of a Cast Member by calling (407) 934-7639. However, it sounds like you are hoping for a different outcome. My best suggestion is to call (407) 560-2428 and explain your situation to a friendly Cast Member. They will be able to view your account’s history and walk you through your options.

    In the event you still must use your credit towards a future Walt Disney World Resort vacation, have you considered visiting later this year? Not only will you have the opportunity to partake in The World’s Most Magical Celebration, but you can also experience the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival from July 14, 2022 through November 19, 2022. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays takes place for a limited time during the Holiday Season thereafter. Both of these Festivals have so much to see, do, taste, and savor.

    Christina, I hope that you are able to come “home” to the magic after all, but if you aren't, I hope you receive a favorable resolution regarding your credit. Know that all of us here at planDisney will be ready to help you plan the magical vacation of your dreams whenever you are ready.
