We have planned our trip to WDW with our only grandaughter (5 yr. old) in September. We have planned to be at Animal Kingdom on Monday, 8th. We have reservations for Chef Mickey's at 2:00 p.m.. Is this enough time for Magic Kingdom with a 5 yr. old?

    Pam,

I'm not sure I understand completely what your plan is.  It sounds like you are asking if half a day at the Magic Kingdom is enough?  If that is indeed the question, then my answer would be a very definite no

My daughters are 1, 3, and 5 and on a vacation we typically spend 2 full days in the Magic Kingdom, plus partial day visits here and there.  We would actually skip another park (or two) if necessary in order to spend more time in the Magic Kingdom.  There is by far the biggest number of rides and attractions for the young set in the Magic Kingdom, and half a day wouldn't even scratch the surface.

If you can re-arrange your schedule a bit to allow more time in the park, then by all means, please do so.  You won't regret it!

And if I misunderstood your question entirely, my apologies.  I know the space constraints can sometimes make it hard to phrase your questions, so I may be misinterpreting what you wrote.  If that's the case don't hesitate to ask us again!
