Well hi again Gary, it's great to see you back at planDisney once again!

From the sounds of it, you've definitely taken the reins as the lead planner for your upcoming getaway to Walt Disney World Resort as a bit of a respite from the chilly winter weather up in Saskatchewan. I remember when you last asked about bringing toy lightsabers into the theme parks, and I'm sorry to hear that your husband won't be able to come with you and the gang - but I recently encountered a similar situation and I'm happy to share with you what the friendly Guest Relations Cast Members were able to provide us by way of advice:

If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, the Front Desk Cast Members will typically want to see identification as well as a credit card on which to place an authorization hold for your incidentals on the day of your arrival. The Cast Members I asked said you shouldn't encounter any issues if you let them know your husband couldn't make it, but they also said it would be a good idea to give them a heads up by contacting them directly at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations number. Another great way to bypass the Front Desk is by taking advantage of Direct-To-Room Service through your My Disney Experience App as you arrive, allowing you to check-in online and head straight to your room instead.

When you access your My Disney Experience App here at Walt Disney World Resort, you can also change between the payment methods or credit cards you want to use for your purchases. I've been able to use my husband's credit card for things like Mobile Food or Beverage orders and Merchandise Mobile Checkout without any issue!

As for your Memory Maker purchase, you may still be able to reassign the entitlement if you or your husband haven't used it yet. You'll be happy to hear that in our experience, since our Memory Maker is under my husband's account we were able to share it with everyone that we are linked to on our Family & Friends list whose permissions we had to allow for each person. Alternatively, the Disney PhotoPass photographers also recommended asking them for a Disney PhotoPass card that you can scan instead and manually link to your account later using the code found on the card itself.
