Hiya Pamela,
Welcome to planDisney. It won't be long now until you are on the way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration! October is a great month to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. Not only are the wait times typically shorter while the kids are back in school, but you can also enjoy a number of fall activities and events.
One of those fall activities is
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This special event takes place on select evenings at
Magic Kingdom and provides Guests the opportunity to enjoy most attractions with lower wait times as well as exciting entertainment options only offered on party nights. Guests can trick-or-treat at locations throughout the theme park, enjoy ghoulish treats and the spooktacular
Mickey's Boo to You! Halloween parade. Tickets are limited and it is not unusual for this extremely popular event to sell out. Unfortunately, there are few options once the tickets are gone. The two suggestions I can offer are to
check back online before you leave to see if any additional tickets become available. The second suggestion is to stop at
Guest Relations at the Magic Kingdom and ask if they have any additional tickets available. While it is rare for additional tickets to become available, you may get lucky and find they can offer you a last minute purchase option.
If you are not able to snag any last minute tickets, I suggest heading over to EPCOT to spend some extra time enjoying the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. You and your taste buds can nibble and sip your way around The World Showcase enjoying culinary delights from six continents. While there may not be a Headless Horseman, it will still be a great evening.
I hope some additional tickets become available and if you need any additional planning information, please stop back and
see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
