It sounds like you're getting ready for an April visit to
Walt Disney World Resort and I'm so excited for you! This is one of my personal favorite times of year to visit, from the gorgeous blooming flowers and topiaries to the springtime sweets and snacks. It's also the perfect weather to enjoy swimming at your Disney Resort hotel!
When looking at the page for
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it states that the Fuentes del Morro Pool will be closed for refurbishment through late March 2024. This makes me hopeful that this pool will be open for your visit in April! However, in my experience (at least, at my own home), refurbishments and remodeling can sometimes take longer than expected. I'll be wishing upon a star that a newly refurbished Fuentes del Morro Pool will be open and ready to be used by the time of your visit. But if not, I'm happy to let you know that there are still
five leisure pools that will be available for you to use! No matter where you are, you won't be too far from a refreshing dip in a nearby pool.
Ashley, if swimming is an important part of your trip to Walt Disney World Resort, perhaps you could consider staying at a resort that won't be undergoing refurbishments. For example, you might enjoy
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, whose Dig Site Pool is equally amazing! But truly, if you decide to keep your reservation at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I have a feeling you're going to have a special and memorable trip.
