    We had planned on staying at CBR 9/29-10/4. My tween was watching videos of the pool area and he said the "ship" looks small and for younger kids.Is there another slide in the main pool area In the fort looking part?.Our othr choices are PORFQ or

    Your tween was right, and wrong. They were right, in that there is a "ship" feature that is part of a toddler splash area. It has a low slide that would probably not be too terribly exciting for him/her.

    However there are actually two more standard slides in the adjacent Old Port Royale pool. There is an unofficial fan site for the resort (disneycaribbeanbeach.com) that has pictures of both, so you can show your tween these pictures and see if they seem to be more up to their speed!

    If this is the deciding factor, I would not make a resort change. The pool complex (refurbished in 2008) is a pretty great one, especially for tweens.
