Welcome to planDisney, Rainie! I'm so glad you stopped by with this question. September will be a beautiful time to visit
Disneyland Resort. If you keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, you might get some information soon about this year's Halloween festivities during
Oogie Boogie Bash at
Disney California Adventure Park. I enjoyed the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay last year with Jack Skellington; he's one of my all-time favorite ghouls! But let's see if we can troubleshoot your problems with
Theme Park Reservations.
The first thing to try is to go back into the
Theme Park Availability Calendar and refresh the page. Since reservations typically open up on a rolling basis a day or so at a time, they might not have been opened when you first tried. I can currently see availability at both parks, so I hope that was the issue. But if you still see your dates blocked, let's try something else.
If you booked a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, including a resort and tickets, make sure your package has been linked to your mobile app. Click on the three lines in the bottom right and choose My Hotel Reservation. Next, enter the required information to link your package. Once you've ensured your package is linked, tap the plus sign at the bottom of your app screen and choose Make a Park Reservation.
I hope some of these tips help you book those reservations, Rainie. However, if you're still having a less-that-magical time, please contact the
Vacation Packages line if you've booked a package, or call the
Tickets line if you purchased your tickets separately. I'm confident a Cast Member will be able to help you secure the park reservations you want.
Rainie, thanks again for stopping by
planDisney, and I hope your upcoming visit is full of colorful, creepy fun. Just watch out for those hitchhiking ghosts!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
