    We have planned (but have not purchased yet) at Disney trip for Dec 19-23. Will it be busy at that time? We are flexible and can change to an earlier date. The smaller the crowd the better for us.

    If crowds are an issue for you and you can change to an earlier date, I would. School districts across the country break for the holiday beginning on the 19th and will then very quickly descend upon Walt Disney World. The two weeks on either side of Christmas are extremely crowded at WDW. The earlier in December you can make your trip, the fewer crowds you will have to contend with.
