What is planned for New Year's Eve? Trying to decide between Magic Kingdom and Epcot! It will be my birthday!!

    Welcome, Lindsey!

I could think of no better way to make a birthday extra-special than to spend it at The Most Magical Place on Earth. In fact, you will be celebrating your birthday with the whole Disney gang as they ring in 50 years of Walt Disney World Resort!

Lindsay, we have not hEARd of any special events that are occurring for the new year. So you will want to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and follow Disney Parks on social media for any updates.

If it were my birthday, I think that I would choose to spend the day and night at EPCOT. You simply can not go wrong with a celebratory cocktail (or mocktail) while you take in the all-new Harmonious nighttime spectacular. The fact that it is New Year's Eve will make sure that you have an extra festive atmosphere.

Now, Lindsay, if you are traveling with little ones you may want to consider Magic Kingdom since I know that EPCOT has historically been a little busier on this day. A few years ago, I celebrated my birthday at Be Our Guest Restaurant and it was such a fun and memorable time.

Whichever park you choose, I just know you will have a wonderful time, Lindsey. I also want to remind you to make your Disney Park Pass system reservations as soon as possible. I expect that this will be a very popular day to visit and I would not want anything to rain on your birthday parade.

    Happy Early Birthday!
