I've planned a mini-vacation to DisneyWorld with my 4 year old granddaughter. I'm wondering which Dining Plan to choose: Deluxe or QuickServe. Can anyone with recent experience feeding a young child impromtu, suggest which plan would be best for us? Thx!

How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World with your granddaughter, Michele! When I took my first child to Walt Disney World at the age of two, we primarily dined at quick-service restaurants. However, I have learned through the years that my four children do much better having at least one table-service meal during the day. My family of six enjoys getting to take a short break from park touring to enjoy table-service meals together. If your biggest concern regarding the Disney Dining Plan is having your table-service meals prearranged, then I would recommend booking an Advanced Dining Reservation for breakfast or dinner when your granddaughter normally eats. I think your granddaughter will love dining with the Disney Characters at one of the Character Dining Experiences. I personally prefer the regular Disney Dining Plan which includes one (1) Quick-Service Meal, one (1) Snack, and one (1) Table-Service Meal per person, per night of your package stay.We purchased the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan when my twins were four-years-old and found it to be too much time sitting at meals and so much food with "little ones." Because I love the table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World, I prefer the regular Disney Dining Plan over that of the Quick-Service Dining Plan. If you decide to purchase the regular Disney Dining Plan, I would recommend using your table-service meal at breakfast or dinner and using your quick-service meal at lunch when you will most likely want to dine at a more spontaneous time frame with a "little one." Follow this link to compare all of the Disney Dining Plans. I hope this helps! Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions regarding the Disney Dining Plan or if you would like any dining recommendations.I would love to assist you in planning a Magical Walt Disney World Vacation, Michele!
    Happy Planning,
