We have planned our first DVC member trip in December, are the pools heated? How does it work with cleaning services at Kidani since it mentions every 4th day linens and towels are changed? Can we request more towels sooner?

    Hi Tara,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am thrilled to share with you that you should bring along your favorite bathing suits and sunscreen because we will want to splash around in the fabulous Samawati Springs Pool and Uzima Pool during your December vacation. Not only are all Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools heated, but the fickle Central Florida Decembers can sometimes offer some fantastic swimming weather!

Disney Vacation Club Members staying at a DVC Resort using points experience a different "Mouskeeping" rotation than you might be accustomed to with a cash reservation. For Stays of 7-nights or less, you will have a "Trash & Towel" service on the fourth day. Your trash will be removed and all consumables will be replenished. For stays of 8-nights or longer, you will discover a full cleaning service on the fourth day of your stay and a Trash & Towel service on day eight. Then this rotation will continue throughout the rest of your stay.

You can always request additional cleanings or individual items by placing a quick call to Housekeeping through your Resort hotel phone. Please keep in mind that there is a fee for these services.

If you are staying in a 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom Villa, you can always wash your towels in your full-sized washer & dryer located right in your villa. Bring a baggie of laundry pods for convenience!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
