We have planned on eating dinner at Trail's End on a day we are at MK. I am wondering how much time it will take for the ferry ride. It is my understanding it will stop at the FWR first? Thanks

    Hi Emilila,

The Trail's End is a fun restaurant and is a favorite of my mom and mother-in-law.

You will need to board the boat to Fort Wilderness at the docks of Magic Kingdom. You want to look for a green flag boat and this is labelled at the dock.

The boat will take you to Wilderness Lodge and then Fort Wilderness. From the marina at Fort Wilderness, it is a quick walk to Pioneer Hall which houses the Trail's End as well as the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. In this area is a playground and an outpost to purchase supplies. There is also games such as checkers to play as you await your table.

I would allow at least an hour to travel between Magic Kingdom and the Trail's End. After dinner, you can take the boat back to the Magic Kingdom for a bus back to your resort or you can grab a bus here.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
