We have planned a Disney World vacation from Dec 26-Jan 1 of this year. We are going to be staying offsite this time around. Do you have any suggestions for us?

Hi, Kristen! I have visited Walt Disney World during the week between Christmas and New Year's.  It is a beautiful, cool time of year to visit, but it is also the single busiest week of the year.  My most important suggestion for you is to arrive early and do not leave.  During this week, the parks often reach capacity, and the gates are closed.  When this happens, Walt Disney World Resort Guests have the first opportunity to get in.  Since you are staying off-site, it will be vital to arrive early and get in the park and then not to leave the park during the day because you might not get back inside.  Besides this, I encourage you to exercise patience, choose the a few things that you most want to do and accomplish them first, and enjoy the holiday decorations.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
