Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Starlyn!
Congratulations to you and your family! What a wonderful gift to be expecting an addition to your pirate crew later this year. Your family can expect smooth sailing with Captain Mickey when you
travel with your little one.
First, I would recommend you
contact Disney Cruise Line and add a guest to your daughter and her husband's cruise reservation. A Vacation Planning Specialist can add a placeholder and you can contact them with the little one's name and information once you have welcomed them into the world. For most cruises, guests need to be six months old on the day of sailing. For Transatlantic, Panama Canal and Hawaiian cruises, little ones need to be one year old to sail.
Once you are onboard, Disney Cruise Line will provide complimentary use of portable cribs, diaper disposal units, bottle warmers and sterilizers, as well as high chairs. When you speak with a Vacation Planning Specialist, just let them know what you need and they will make a note on your reservation for your Staterooom Host so that your stateroom is ready for your little pirate on embarkation day!
Finally, if you would like to give your daughter and her husband a break and enjoy an incredible meal together in one of the
adult exclusive restaurants, consider making a reservation for your new arrival in the
"it's a small world" nursery when your
advance booking window opens.
I hope I have steered you in the right direction, Starlyn! Congratulations again and I am thrilled for all the excitement awaiting your family over this next year. Cruise back to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have additional questions as you plan your vacation together!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
