    We are planing to visit Disneyworld in May for my birthday. I have a question: what is the best way to get from Downtown Disney to the Boadwalk. Also can I use the Disney Fun Card I get for my Birthday at the Disney store at the Downtown Disney?

    Firstly Happy early Birthday, you're so lucky to be able to spend it at Walt Disney World!

    To get from Downtown Disney to Disney's Boardwalk simply catch a bus, there are 2 bus stops in Downtown look for the bus symbol on the map, to any of the Boardwalk hotels such as the Boardwalk Inn or Beach Club. The journey should take roughly 20 minutes. I love using the transport wizard at www.ourlaughingplace.com to plan my journey's.

    If I was at WDW for my Birthday I would get the Fun Card too, it's like a gift card to the value of a 1 day base park ticket and can be spent at most Disney World owned stores and yes it can be used at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. Details about the card can be found HERE.
