planing our trip for 11/2016. we've never stayed at disney. which hotel is best for fireworks and downtown disney? how close are they?

    Hi Andy,

You've come to the right place for questions about planning your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Staying on property is always a good choice because of the benefits available to resort guests.  The Magic Kingdom and Epcot both have fireworks on a nightly basis.  The resort map will give you an idea of the hotels closest to the parks.  Bear in mind that your room location will determine whether or not you are able to see fireworks from your room.

Downtown Disney is its own recreational and shopping area and is not very close to the theme parks. The only hotel within walking distance to Downtown Disney is Saratoga Springs.  Note however, that no matter where you are staying, bus transportation is available to Downtown Disney.

I hope you found this information helpful.  We're always here to answer your questions, so please come back and visit as you plan your magical trip in 2016.
