We are planing a trip for next Feb. (2019) and are going to purchase Annual Passes. If there is a discounted room rate for Annual Passholders that is announced in November of 2018 will we be able to get that even if we book the rooms in June?

    Dear Cynthia,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your wondEARful question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I am also a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and I love all of the perks and discounts that come along with it, including special offers on Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays and vacation packages!

The great news is that you can purchase your Annual Pass and link it to your account, but then wait to activate it until your first day actually in the parks. This means that you can use it to purchase Annual Passholder-specific discount packages even before it is activated. Once you arrive in the parks and activate it, it will then start the clock ticking on your one year of using it.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
