Hi, I am planing to take my family to Disney and was wondering what is Character Dinning? What sort of activities do they have? I am taking my 10 year old daughter. Which c. dinnig would be the best to take her?

    Hi Egbert,

How great that you and your family are going to Disney World. Disney has lots of restaurants that offer character dining, you can see a list by choosing "character dining" from the "dining experience" drop down box on the left hand side of this page HERE. Whilst you dine different characters will circulate the restaurant, they stop at every table for photographs and autographs, there is also often a fun parade during the meal that the children can participate in. The meal is a great way to meet your childs favourite characters with out having to queue for ages, it is also great to have a sit down and rest out of the heat!

I'm not sure which characters your daughter loves but I know my girls, who are aged 10 and 12, love the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh and friends, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot with the Princesses and breakfast at 'Ohanas at the Polynesian with Lilo & Stitch. Whichever you choose you will need to make a reservation, this can be done by calling 407-939-3463 up to 90 days in advance.

    Have a fantastic trip,

    Jo
