Great question Larry! I'm a big fan of exploring after a travel day, and then hit the ground running the next day for our first full day at a theme park. And nothing gets you feeling the Disney pixie dust like watching Wishes fireworks. I'm not sure if you've made dinner plans for your first night, so I've included some suggestions for each viewing spot.
I highly recommend viewing from one the the three monorail resorts:
- Contemporary Resort, where you can dine with the characters at
Chef Mickey's, or enjoy a lovely deluxe dining experience at the
California Grill.
- Grand Floridian Resort, where you can watch the fireworks from the beach, or from the balcony at
Narcoossee's, which is a favourite dining spot.
- The beach at the Polynesian resort offers the perfect viewing spot, where you can relax and take in the sights. DInner before or after at
'Ohana's or the
Kona Cafe make for the perfect evening.
Wishing you a magical vacation Larry!
