Hi Jon!
Thanks for visiting planDisney! We are happy to help answer your question about Disney Springs dining! Our vacations, both family and solo, are never complete without a trip to Disney Springs. Be it for shopping at World of Disney, hot chocolate at
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, or listening to live music at the amphitheater, there is so much to see and do!
Disney is monitoring capacity at
Disney Springs in order to ensure the safety of guests and Cast Members as well as to comply with physical distancing guidelines. Should Disney Springs reach capacity prior to your arrival, unfortunately, you will not be allowed in. Rest assured you will not be charged the reservation fee associated with your dining, as Disney understands that the capacity closure is beyond your control. My best suggestion would be to head to Disney Springs well before your dining reservation. You can occupy your downtime by visiting the stores or catching a movie at the
AMC Dine-In theatre. You can play a game of bowling at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes, or enjoy some pre-dinner drinks at
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar. Either way, you arrive well before your reservation increased your chances of being able to enter Disney Springs.
Having dined at most of the restaurants at Disney Springs, here are some of my suggestions. For dinner and a show, you’ll have a wonderful time at
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. Offering authentic Irish food, musicians, and dancers, it has quickly become one of my favorites! Don’t forget to order Ger’s Bread and Butter Pudding! If you want great seafood and gorgeous views,
Paddlefish is definitely the way to go. The restaurant operates in a paddleboat and offers guests some amazing seafood entrees. The crab ceviche is phenomenal, and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from atop the rooftop bar. Should down-home cooking be your craving,
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ offers phenomenal fried chicken, outstanding cocktails, and ridiculously good Hummingbird cake! The cake alone ensures we visit at least once a trip!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
