We plan on a WDW vacation in May 2011. We are taking a train, not the auto train, from NC to Orlando. We will arrive in Orlando at 10:00 am (approximate) Will our Disney resort, most likely Port Orleans, hold our luggage until we are able to check in?

Hi Currie! I've flown and driven from North Carolina to Orlando, but have never taken a train --that sounds like a fun adventure!

If you arrive at your Disney resort before the official check-in time, you can still check in, although your room may not be ready that early. (I've checked in to resorts quite early in the morning, and on several occasions, I've been pleasantly surprised to find that a room was waiting for me!) If your room is not ready, the resort will store your bags for you and call or text you when your room is available later in the day.

Hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
