We plan on being at WDW during the 2013 Super Bowl. Are there any restaurants that have a bar also that will be showing the game?Gaston's tavern maybe?Want somewhere where we could eat as a family and then the kids and I ride & leave my DH to watch? Thx

    Hi Diana,

There are no restaurants with live TV in the theme parks. There are, however, several nearby hotels which will certainly be showing the game in their lounges.

Probably the best place to watch the big game would be the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk. This is within a five minute walk to Epcot. You could eat there (great wings!) and then take the kids into the park. I will warn you that this will be the most popular venue in town on Super Bowl day, so you'll want to get there super early.

If you're more interested in the Magic Kingdom, you could dine at any of the restaurants at the Contemporary, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian hotels. These are all just a quick monorail ride to the MK. There are bars at each of these hotels which will certainly be showing the game. I particularly like the bar at the Wave restaurant at the Contemporary. The food at the Wave restaurant is quite good too.

Another nice option would be the bar at the Wilderness Lodge for your hubby to watch the game. You could eat at the super fun Whispering Canyon Cafe and then take a ten minute boat ride over to the Magic Kingdom.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
