Kevin from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I plan on visiting June 20th Monday but it looks like all the light shows at night stop on June 18th Saturday. Please advise.

Hi there, Kevin! Thanks for contacting planDisney with your question. We are happy to help ensure that your summer trip is a blast!

After debuting for Mickey's 90th birthday in 2019, many guests developed an emotional attachment to Mickey's Mix Magic which was described as a "high-energy dance and projection show celebrating the one and only Mickey Mouse." While the show was brought back earlier this year, it was only meant to be seasonal; the Disneyland Forever fireworks show will take its place for the summer months. By the time of your visit, it will be showing nightly (weather permitting) at 9:30 PM, and it incorporates fireworks, projection mapping, and lasers to depict scenes from Disney films. I think you'll really enjoy it (check out the Disney Parks Blog for a recent article). The entertainment schedule can be found under the Parks & Tickets tab on the Disneyland website.

Fantasmic! is another nighttime show at Disneyland Park that is set to make its return later this month. This classic heroes vs. villains tale will show nightly starting May 28 at 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM. If parades are your thing, then make sure to schedule some time to see the Main Street Electrical Parade; it has two performances each day at 8:45 PM and 10:45 PM. My friend Kamini highly recommends the Plaza Inn Lunch Dining Package, which gives you access to a reserved viewing area and a tasty, affordable meal!

If you have a Park Hopper ticket and plan to visit Disney California Adventure Park during your visit, do not miss the World Of Color nighttime show. The show has nearly 1,200 musical water fountains with high-definition projections and LED lights on mist screens; it's been described as a "kaleidoscope of color and emotion!" To view it, you'll need to enter a Virtual Queue in your Disneyland Mobile app beginning at noon daily (here's a planDisney tip: be ready and on your app a few minutes early to preselect your party).

I hope this helps spark a few ideas, Kevin! We are exploding with advice here at planDisney, so feel free to come back and visit us anytime!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
