Hi, Victoria! Welcome to planDisney.
That sounds like a brilliant plan! Starting your day with a wild adventure at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and wrapping it up with
Happily Ever After at
Magic Kingdom Park sounds "practically perfect in every way." You’ll get to enjoy the beauty of
Kilimanjaro Safaris in the morning and the sparkle of Cinderella Castle at night. I'm feeling very jealous right now!
Since your first stop is Disney's Animal Kingdom, that’s the best place to park in the morning. Try and get there as early as possible so that you can snag a parking spot close to the entrance. The great news is that once you pay for parking at any of the four theme parks, you’re covered for the whole day, even if you switch parks. Just be sure to hang on to your receipt. When it’s time to head to Magic Kingdom, you’ll drive over to the Transportation and Ticket Center, park there, and then hop on either the
monorail or the ferryboat to reach the park gates.
Here’s a little tip: Give yourself some extra time when moving between the two parks. Magic Kingdom isn't just around the riverbend from Disney's Animal Kingdom. So plan for about 45 minutes to an hour to get from one park to the other. I always find that setting my expectations right is the key to a good Disney day.
Cheers, Victoria. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
