Hi! We plan to visit WDW in Oct. 2014. Is there a way for me to find out the dates of MNSSHP? Also, should we plan our day at MK on a day other than the day we go to MNSSHP? Thanks!!!

    Hi Kylie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It is one of my favorite special events at the Walt Disney World Resort. Last year the Disney Parks Blog announced the 2013 dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties in early May. You can view the full list of 2013 dates by clicking the link I provided. I would suggest bookmarking the Disney Parks Blog and keeping an eye on it as May approaches. I would assume that the 2014 dates will be announced around the same time, and should be close to last year's range.

I usually suggest guests spend at least a full day at the Magic Kingdom. With the recently expanded New Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom Park has more to offer than ever before. You could certainly plan to visit the Magic Kingdom on the day you purchase Special Event Tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but you may want to go back for another day as well. Please feel free to send me any further questions regarding your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
