Hi! I plan to visit Disneyland very soon. I know policy states that suitcases larger than 24x15x18 in are not allowed, but if I were to bring a 20x9x12in w/wheels, will I be allowed on park rides or would I need to store it in a locker?

    Hello, Luis,

Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you are thinking ahead to make sure you are ready for a safe and fun visit to the Disneyland Resort.

As you are aware, suitcases (or other similar bags, backpacks, or coolers) that are larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed to be taken inside the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Furthermore, any size suitcase or similar bag is also not permitted inside the theme parks if it has wheels.

For a suitcase or bag with wheels, I recommend either leaving it at your hotel or vehicle. Guests of the Disneyland Resort hotels may request that bags be held at the hotel Bell Desk, even before check-in or after check-out. Some Good Neighbor Hotels may offer similar services. If a wheeled suitcase or bag must be taken with you to the Disneyland Resort, you may request permission to take your bag directly to the locker rentals located outside the theme parks. A limited number of jumbo-sized lockers are available to rent. These larger lockers can fit bags up to 19" wide x 24" high x 31" deep (48 cm x 61 cm x 78 cm). Locker rentals are available on a first-come basis. So it may be best to arrive as early as possible.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Luis. And if you have any more questions we can help with, I hope you’ll visit us again soon. If preferred, we can even offer advice en español!

    See ya real soon!
