Hiya Elizabeth,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.
I’m excited that you are planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Your visit will occur during the return of the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. As you may have seen, the
Disney Parks Blog just published the
Halfway to Holidays page so Guests can get into the Holiday spirit. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as they’ll publish more Holiday offerings closer to your visit date!
The Disneyland Resort does still require both a valid
theme park ticket and
theme park reservation for admission into the parks (subject to change). Guests can review park reservation availability ahead of time on the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar, which accounts for the variety of tickets available. Magic Key pass holders have their own set of park reservations they can view on the
Magic Key Calendar. Guests with a theme park ticket will not be granted admission into the parks without a park reservation.
I recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Calendar before purchasing tickets to ensure the parks do not reach capacity on the day you wish to visit. An unused one-day ticket is valid through December 30, 2025, and a multi-day ticket must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2026, whichever occurs first (dates subject to change). You can purchase a ticket whenever you like (either on the official Disneyland website or the
Disneyland app), but the theme park reservation must be for the day you wish to visit the parks.
If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
