I plan to visit Disneyland Anaheim in a week, I have a stroller wagon and it does NOT exceed the stroller length and width requirements for the park, will it still be allowed?

Hi Alexus! Welcome to planDisney. Your trip to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner, and I’m so glad you reached out to make sure everything is set for your visit. Getting your stroller situation squared away ahead of time is such a great step, especially when it comes to enjoying a smooth and comfortable day in the parks.

Stroller wagons are a popular option for families, so I am happy to help with your question. According to the official Disneyland Resort Rules and the Disneyland Stroller FAQ, stroller wagons are not permitted inside the theme parks, even if they meet the stroller size guidelines. The only situation in which a stroller wagon may be allowed is when it is being used to support a guest with a disability or medical need. In those cases, the stroller wagon would need to be assessed and tagged by a Cast Member before entering the park. If you believe your stroller wagon may qualify under this exception, I recommend calling the Disneyland Disability Services team before your visit to talk through the details. They can also provide information on Disability Access Services at the Resort and help make sure you feel supported when you arrive.

If your stroller wagon does not fall under this exception, your best option is to bring a standard stroller that fits within the required size limits (less than 31 inches or 79 cm wide and less than 52 inches or 132 cm long). Cast Members at the security checkpoint will check stroller sizes and are able to turn away strollers and stroller wagons that do not meet the guidelines or do not have approved tags. Planning ahead here can help avoid a frustrating surprise right at the gate.

Once you’re in the park, I highly recommend taking advantage of a few calm spaces that are especially helpful when traveling with little ones. The patio near Stage Door Café in Frontierland has a calm view of the Rivers of America, which always feels like a peaceful exhale. Another cozy resting area is tucked under the monorail track near Edelweiss Snacks in Fantasyland, where you can enjoy a shaded moment while listening to the sounds of the park around you.

Alexus, I hope this helps you feel prepared and confident for your visit. If you have more questions or would like recommendations tailored to your family’s plans, please come visit us again at planDisney. We’re always happy to help make your Disneyland days magical.

Wishing you a wonderful and comfortable day at Disneyland!
