There really is nothing better than the anticipation of an upcoming
Disneyland Resort visit. That countdown feeling is sheer magic! Let’s jump right into your question so you can get back to dreaming about churros, castle views, and fun!
I took a look at the Refurbishment Schedule in the
Disneyland mobile app, and for your visit on April 21, 2026, the following attractions and locations are currently listed as unavailable:
• Small Bytes
• Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
• Disneyland Monorail
• Jungle Cruise
• Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin
• Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
• Toy Story Midway Mania!
I will actually be in the parks that same week myself, and checking the refurbishment list has become part of my regular Disney planning routine. Schedules can shift, projects can be added, and refurbishments sometimes wrap up earlier than expected, so it is always a good idea to keep an eye on things as your visit gets closer.
To check for updates anytime, be sure you have the Disneyland mobile app downloaded. From the main page, log in, scroll down to My Visit, and select Park Hours and Info. Tap the calendar icon in the upper right corner, choose your visit date, and then scroll to the Closed for Refurbishment section to see the most up to date information. Since things can change, I always recommend checking back often!
For Fireworks and Nighttime Spectaculars, I headed over to the
Entertainment Schedule on the website, and it looks like on April 21 there is not currently a Firework show scheduled, but you will be able to see Wonderous Journeys with Projections on
Sleeping Beauty Castle. One entertainment option that you can see is the
Paint the Night Parade! With over one million LED lights and all your favorite Disney pals, this is one parade that I never miss!
