Hello Brandy!
We often travel with family and friends on our
Walt Disney World Resort vacations too. Disney is the perfect vacation destination for large groups, and children young and old! The entire family can enjoy a ride on
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and then the grandparents can take an afternoon break for a
Dole Whip while the teenagers conquer
Space Mountain.
While some travel companies book multiple rooms under a single reservation, at the Walt Disney World Resort, each room is considered a separate booking and must be booked individually. If you’d like to do this online, go ahead and book each room separately. Once you have all of your reservations
you can call and have a notation added to each reservation that you are a party traveling together and you would like to request your rooms be near one another. Please note, this is only a request and is not guaranteed. I would estimate my requests have been met 75% of the time, but we always plan for the possibility that our rooms may be on different floors or different sections of the resort. Sometimes, a little break from the rest of the group isn’t a bad idea anyway!
Alternately, you can call Disney to make all four reservations
over the phone at (407)-W-DISNEY and have it noted you are a group traveling together, or consider using a Disney Authorized Travel Agent. Many people assume that Travel Agents cost more than booking yourself, but they don’t! For a larger party, you may find the benefits of using a Travel Agent very convenient. I would recommend you look for a Disney Authorized Travel Agent who has a lot of personal experience with Walt Disney World Vacations.
Whichever way you decide to book, I hope you’ll come back to planDisney with more questions as your trip approaches. We are here to help!
