Is there a way to plan a vacation package with "split stay" to keep a budget? We want to stay 1-2 nights at Animal Kingdom and split the rest between a boardwalk resort (easy Epcot walk!) and then the Hilton Palace or Drury by Disney Springs

Hey there, Brittany! It's great to have you back at planDisney with another fantastic question. We really appreciate you for trusting us as your go-to resource for planning your Disney World vacations! It's always an exciting time when you're deep in the planning process, imagining all the magical possibilities. I fully believe that the anticipation and preparation are half the fun!

I absolutely LOVE split-stays! There's something so wonderful about getting to experience multiple Disney Resorts in a single trip. Each Resort has its own vibe, unique theme, and special amenities, so every time you switch, it feels like a brand-new adventure! It's like getting multiple vacations in one — what's not to love?!

If you're looking to book a vacation package, the simplest way to do it is to book your first Resort stay with theme park tickets for the total number of days you'll need for your entire trip. This will be your primary reservation. Your stays at the second and third Resorts will need to be room-only reservations. In total, you'll have three separate reservations – one vacation package and two room-only bookings.

You'll easily be able to transfer your luggage between Disney Resorts using Bell Services, but keep in mind that this service is only available for Disney Resort Collection hotels. If you're switching to a non-Disney hotel, like the Hilton Palace or Drury, you'll need to arrange your own transportation for your luggage.

I recommend making your final Resort stay the one you're most excited about experiencing. It's such a fun way to build up to a grand finale, allowing you to fully soak in the magic and make those last moments extra special. This has always been my favorite way to wrap up a Disney vacation on the perfect note!

Although vacation packages for 2026 aren't available just yet, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on when they'll be released!

Brittany, I hope this information has been helpful, and I wish you lots of fun as you continue with your planning. If any more questions come up along the way, feel free to reach out – I'm all ears!

    Magical wishes,

    Kami
