I would like to plan a vacation for the least crowded time of year. When would be the best time? Thanks!

As a rule of thumb, any time that school is in session, the parks are less crowded. We've noticed the very fewest visitors when we've gone in January-February, however. Just make sure to avoid the first couple of days of the year, as well as holiday weekends like MLK day and Presidents week. Typically the weather is cooler, but still warm enough to wear shorts and swim in their heated pools, if you'd like.

Beyond that, our favorite time to visit is in the fall, September-October. We enjoy the smaller crowds, but the weather is warmer than in January, and the Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party are both big draws as well.

You might also consider May (spring breaks are over but school is not yet out, plus the Flower & Garden Festival is going on) or early December (lots of wonderful Christmas festivities), both of which we have enjoyed as well.

And really, even with a crowd, you're in the Most Magical Place on Earth, so any day in Disney is a good day!
