I would like to plan my vacation with my husband from 1.21-1.31. His birthday is 1.24. So I want to book the disney dream cruise from 1.24-1.27. And that means the vacation spent on WDW resort will be divided into 2 parts. Should I reserve separately?

    Hey there, Kun!

You've just described what sounds like the most magical birthday celebration for your husband! Ten days of magic on land and sea will be a birthday to remember. You are also smart to plan the cruise for the middle of your stay as it is never easy to depart one of the beautiful Disney Cruise Line vessels. I'm getting excited just thinking about your surf and turf adventure with Mickey!

Kun, I recommend reaching out to Disney Cruise Line as they can help you plan your Disney Vacation by Land and Sea. They will be able to reserve your cruise reservation on the Disney Dream as well as a stay at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel. They are not able to add the Disney Dining Planspecial event tickets or tours, but theme park tickets can be included. Ground transfers to and from your Resort hotel can also be purchased to make your land to sea and sea to land transportation smooth and seamless. This service will include baggage handling to the port and back to your Resort hotel, which will make boarding and disembarking a breeze! The toll-free number to call for assistance is (800) 939-2784. (I see you are from Shanghai so if you need a translator, Disney Cruise Line can arrange for one to assist you when you call this number.)

You'll want to make your reservation separately if you are interested in adding any of the extras I mentioned above. To add the Ground Transfers, Disney Cruise Line will need to know the name of your Resort hotel for both pre-and post-cruise so they can plan accordingly for your pick up and drop off. You can provide them that information by calling the number I included for Disney Cruise Line.

It was a pleasure assisting you with your question, Kun. If you need further assistance with your land and sea plans, we hope you'll cruise back over real soon!

    Happy planning,

    Nancy
