Hiya, Matthew! Thank you for bringing this galactically great question to us at planDisney.
I was able to voyage on the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser this year and I can tell you that you're in for an incredible, immersive experience! To begin planning, I would recommend starting with booking the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser by taking a peek at the
Start Planning page. Cabins and suites accommodate different numbers of passengers (that's you and your travel party!). While a Standard Cabin sleeps 4-5 passengers and a Galaxy Class Suite sleeps 4 passengers, you will need a larger space to accommodate your party of 6. The Grand Captain Suite sleeps up to 8 passengers, making it the right fit for your travel party.
After you've decided on your sleeping accommodations, scroll to the bottom of this page and change the calendar to June 2023. Here, you'll be able to see which dates are available. You will always need to choose a starting date that has an orange underline, indicating the start of a voyage. It looks like you'll be looking for the voyage dates of June 8 - 10, 2023. Once you're ready, call a Galactic Starcruiser Specialist at (407) 939-1800 to book your voyage! You may also want to look at any additional activities you want to reserve, and take a peek at our
5 planDisney Tips for a Voyage aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!
Once you've booked your
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience, it's time to select your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for the beginning portion of your trip. Take a look at the availability for June 3 - 8, 2023 and choose the Disney Resort hotel that will fit your travel party the best! With so many different themes and amenities to choose from, you can't go wrong, no matter which one you pick. Since you'll be looking for accommodations that will be just right for a group of 8, you may want to look into booking two rooms. This way, everyone will have a little more personal space, especially if there are some little ones who will need to channel their inner Sleeping Beauty and take a nap in the afternoon. And an extra bathroom is always a good idea when getting ready in the morning!
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction, Matthew! As you continue to plan, please don't hesitate to stop by again with any other questions you may have. We're happy to help!
You've got a friend in me!
