Hi! I plan to upgrade our magic your way tickets to annual passes at a Disney location. Does my spouse have to be present to upgrade the tickets or can u do it with his proper identification and proof of address?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kamla! Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder is a magical gift that keeps on giving all year long!

I think it’s a great idea to upgrade your theme park tickets to annual passes. If you’re a Florida Resident, both you and your husband must be present to show Proof of Florida Residency to be able to purchase any of the Florida Resident annual pass options.

I’ve learned this from personal experience when exchanging vouchers for my Florida Resident theme park tickets in the past. If you have children under the age of 18 that you will be purchasing annual passes for, it would be no problem. Any person over the age of 18 must be present and show proper identification to the Cast Member at the ticket booth or at the Disney Springs Guest Relations location to receive their pass.

Your magical year awaits with lots of benefits you can enjoy as a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, especially when you’re a Florida Resident. Did you know that Florida Residents can make monthly payments for their passes instead of having to pay the full cost up-front? Visit the official Passholder page on the Disney site for more details.

Kamla, I hope this information is helpful to you. Feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical visit!
