Hi! I plan to try Victoria's and Albert restaurant, but my future husband is lactose intolerant and has fish and seafood allergies. Can this restaurant adapt his six courses menu for him and offer him alternative course when necessary ?

    Hi again Sylvie,

Yes. Your husband's menu can be completely customized to his needs at Victoria & Albert's. This is Disney's premier dining establishment. They will do anything possible to ensure that a guest there has a delicious, and most of all safe dining experience. When I answered your question HERE, I neglected to mention that in addition to the regular menu that my husband and I were given, we were also offered a completely different six course vegetarian menu, which included no meat or seafood. We would have been welcome to mix and match items from either of the menus, choosing some courses from the vegetarian menu and some from the regular menu -- whichever was most appealing to us.

Additionally, Disney makes every attempt to accommodate food allergies at the table service restaurants, but most especially at Victoria & Albert's, where each guest need is given the greatest attention. When you make your V&A reservation, tell your reservationist about your hubby's medical situation. This will be noted on your file. At the start of the meal at V&A, a chef will come out to the dining room to confirm your hubby's allergies and inquire about his taste preferences. He will be offered wonderful food options that will both delight his palate and keep him safe.

    Enjoy!
