We would like to plan a trip to WDW in January, hoping to see some of the Christmas events (Osbourne lights?) while avoiding the holiday crowds. Do they continue the special Christmas parades, decorations, party, etc. after the holidays?

    Hi Tracy!

January is a great time to go to Disney! I love the fall and winter months since they are often less crowded (other than Christmas week of course!) and the Florida weather is at a manageable level to tour the parks without worrying about the sun!

While the Christmas parade and the party's will have ended by January, you may be able to see most of the decorations in the parks and resorts. Typically these stay up for a week or so into January - but of course that could always change.

If you'd like to be sure to see all of the holiday happenings, I can personally recommend the first week of December. I've been nearly to the parks that particular week for the last 4 years and just love it!

I hope this helps! Have a great time - no matter when you decide to visit, I'm sure your trip will be magical!
